My son did end up drawing GMU 4 for archery. Looking at a few different areas and planning to go up this weekend to scout for accessibility, downfall, glassing points. I see they do give plenty of tags for the unit. Just curious if anyone has any tips or helpful insight.
Never hunted that GMU but Colorado Gaming Office posted a few trail cams pics a few days ago. I think I saw one for GMU 7. - ColoradoHunter719 I like how they labeled all the cams with the GMU.

Assuming that I draw an archery elk tag for GMU 61 this fall, "Do I haul my Polaris ATV to Colorado?" I have heard yes from 1 hunter. I have heard no from another. I have never been in the unit, so I don't know the terrain or regulations. It would be licensed and insured.
